DS Container contracted Slaten construction to prep an empty 200,000 ft² facility to receive one of the first aluminum can assembly lines. Work included saw cutting and removing over 3,000 tons of concrete and earth to depths near 20’ below grade. All new underground plumbing and electrical was installed including waste pits, a 2-story steel platform, designated machine rooms and a clean industrial epoxy finish. We have also performed many various items of maintenance work at both of their Illinois locations.
